~About the Photographer~
I was born in Amarillo, TX and grew up moving to different cities and living outside the country, as my parents worked as missionaries. This developed in me a love for travel, adventure, and cultures and is also when I began filling up photo albums with photos of the people and places I was experiencing. Taking photos is a way of observing life and learning from it, and it taught me so much about myself and the world around me. I majored in Business Management at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) in Waxahachie, TX, and my first job out of college was at Southwest Airlines as an analyst. I loved my job, and my husband and I had the amazing opportunity to travel all over the country. It was during those years that I began to get serious with my camera, and my travel photography eventually led me to begin photographing people as well. I am now a full-time photographer and stay home with my 2 amazing, crazy, lovable toddlers. My husband is a guitar instructor and worship pastor at Life Fellowship Church in Allen, TX, and we love pursuing our passions together.
~About The Style~
Modern. Creative. Simple. Fresh. Organic. This is how I would describe my style of photography. I love creating artful photos that are honest and natural. I feel that people look their best when they are relaxed and being themselves, so I avoid over-posing and prefer to capture real interactions and expressions. Clients often tell me that these photos are their favorites and the happiest they have looked in photos (I know, not EVERYONE loves having their photos taken)! My goal is to help clients enjoy the experience, feel relaxed and comfortable, and love the photos!
